Our Tribute to Gary Ryan

We have created our RCNC Photo Gallery in memory of Gary Ryan, a world renown famous photographer who worked for Getty Images, Magnum, PR Newswire, Wire Image, and several other exclusive news and image services.  Most of the pictures from 2017 and 2018 in the gallery were taken by him. While Gary did not have a substance use disorder, his love for those who do and those who help those who do was profound.  Gary found a way to be present, available and supportive in telling the story of those with a substance use disorder, highlighting and humanizing their journey through picture and story.  He marveled at the change and the quality of life recovery could bring.  Gary was a dear friend to Dr. Rita Anita Linger and a giant recovery ally and support to RCNC – the organization and the team.  He was taken much too soon from us.  Gary we love you and feel your loss so very greatly.  Your life was a testament to what a recovery ally really looks like and the work you presented us with which tells the story of addiction recovery will live on forever, as will you in our hearts.
