Resilience, Recovery, and Reality

When WRAL’s Mikaya Thurmond covered our 2nd Annual NC Addiction Recovery Advocacy Day back in February, she discovered stories that simply had to be told. We helped her organize the three compelling stories that followed. Families of loss are turning their sorrow into service, creating solutions in their communities. Formerly addicted men and women are now thriving, leading a statewide movement to save lives and promote recovery. Finally, the most deadly public health crisis in American history is impacting our youth, and they are organizing in schools to provide mutual support and pathways to freedom. Ours are stories of resilience, recovery, and reality.
