Hope Grows Stronger in North Carolina

Local Law Enforcement Agencies and Recovery Communities are partnering across North Carolina to save lives and offer hope. The Hope Initiative recently celebrated one year of success in Nash County. Nashville Police Department and CARE & The Anchor Holds (recovery community organizations) partner to provide connection to treatment and/or recovery coaching to anyone seeking help.

Raleigh recently garnered media coverage for their post-naloxone response team, The Hope Squad. Raleigh Police Department, Recovery Communities of North Carolina, and NC Harm Reduction Coalition collaborate to provide recovery coaching and harm reduction services after overdose reversals.

Most recently, our partners in Wilson County have joined this important movement. The Hope Alliance is a partnership between Wilson Substance Prevention Coalition and Wilson Police Department. They will soon be implementing an impactful program similar to their neighbors in Nash County.

RCNC provides specialized training for recovery coaches and lends guidance to the growing number of recovery communities throughout North Carolina.
